About Me

Hello, you can call me Sariel! I'm 25 years old and I have he/him pronouns. I'm a certified programmer™ (meaning I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science) working to create games from Southern California. I've always been a fairly introverted person that keeps most things I do and think to myself, so this website is simultaneously a way of keeping my coding skills refreshed, learning a new skillset in HTML and CSS, and to get more comfortable sharing the pieces of myself that I keep inside.

I'm interested in anime, video games, music, card games (pretty much just Grand Archive and Yu-Gi-Oh!), history, and philosophy. I can speak both English and Spanish (even if my family clowns on me sometimes) and I'm currently studying Japanese and German. I've studied Japanese for about 3+ years, but I don't really have anyone to practice it with so Duolingo is the goat.

The full alias I use as a screen name is StardustSariel, which derives from Stardust Dragon, my favorite old-school Yu-Gi-Oh card in effect, design, and aesthetic as well as Sariel being an old name for an OC that I no longer use but still like. The name and design of this website is also influenced by the same Stardust name!
